Short review_
Today, I saw a TED and read an article about Grit.
Above all, let me define Grit,
Grit is power for us to keep things that we've been working on going despite of difficulties, which is called perseverance, so eventually make them acheivement.
The speecher of the TED coined the term, Grit.
What struck me from these two materials is Grit is the key driver for success, not talent or intelligence.
I din't know how much of talent and intelligence is contributtable to success but she said Grit is an essential component of outcomes independent of those.
I have seen so many people feel frustrated that they are not gifted and talented enough to fulfill their goals but this TED got me thinking that what we need in our lives is a better understanding of Grit, not just having infatuation.
oh plus, something just popped up in my head. I would like to talk with my friends about what makes them persevere, persist and continue their work.
Anyway let's just stick with goals with Grit for the future we draw up!
